Mossy the Flexi Dragon, on the house.
A full-size print-in-place dragon, already run through a Bambu, a Prusa and an Ender. No supports, no raft, and the tail still moves at the tip.
Yours to keep, and we send a free one every month after that. One email, nothing else, leave whenever you like.
You're in.
Mossy the Flexi Dragon is on the way to your inbox, and the next free one lands at the start of next month. No need to wait though:
Download Mossy the Flexi Dragon- 1 Leave your email and the files land in your inbox a minute later.
- 2 Print it flat on the bed. You don't need supports, a raft or a brim.
- 3 Let it cool, then bend it. The first wiggle is the whole point.
We ran this one on a Bambu A1, a Prusa MK4 and an Ender 3 before putting it out, in both PLA and PETG. Takes roughly 4 hours.
What's in the download
- STL and 3MF both formats, so any slicer takes it
- Every scale resized and re-tested, not just scaled in the slicer
- Print profile the exact settings we used, not a guess
- No supports needed prints flat on the bed in one piece
Never printed one before?
Do I need a 3D printer?
Yes, this is a file rather than a finished toy. If you don't have one, plenty of libraries, schools and local makerspaces will print a file for you, and there are print services online that will post you the finished thing.
Will it work on my printer?
If it takes PLA and has a bed of about 180mm, almost certainly. We test on a Bambu A1, a Prusa MK4 and an Ender 3, which covers most of what people own. Resin works too, but these are drawn for filament.
What's an STL, and what do I do with it?
It's the standard 3D model file. You open it in slicer software like Bambu Studio, Orca or Cura, which turns it into instructions your printer understands. We include a 3MF as well, which carries our settings with it so you can skip most of that.
Can I make it bigger or smaller?
Go ahead, though the joints get fragile below about 60%. That's why we ship separate files at each scale instead of asking you to shrink them yourself, since each one is re-tested at that size.
What if the joints come out fused?
Email us and we'll help you fix it. Nine times out of ten it's over-extrusion or elephant's foot on the first layer. It's our problem to solve, not yours.
